Extra Care Consultation

Derby City Council commission the care services within Extra Care Housing. Every so many years the care service must be re-tendered to give other care providers the opportunity to bid to deliver the service. There is also a need to review the current service and to redesign the future model of care services within Extra Care Housing. This impacts all tenants; those who receive planned care from the onsite care provider and those who do not receive planned care.

Derby City Council will be communicating with Housing Providers and Care Providers to gain their feedback on roles and responsibilities, and we will look for ways to improve how all partners work together for the interests of you as residents and for service delivery.

A key part of this process is to understand what you think about care delivery within Extra Care Housing. This includes your views on the 24/7 Emergency Response Service.

This survey is open to tenants and relatives of tenants.
