    Foster Carers 2023

    We last asked for your feedback in 2021.This was really helpful and we have tried to implement your suggestions in a number of ways, for example, we have continued to offer some of our training and our visits virtually, as well as face to face. 

    We recognise that following the pandemic and the current economic climate, times are hard for many of us, and we really appreciate your commitment to fostering and the children you care for.    

    The questions ask for your views on what it is like to be a foster carer in Derby, the support and training you receive and how we can continue to develop and improve our service, including how we can encourage more people to foster for Derby. We will use this information to:

    •  Develop the fostering service
    • Continue to assess and develop our training services
    • Develop our marketing strategy
    • Develop our support services
