Public Consultation on Spondon/A52 AQMA

We are consulting on the proposal to Revoke the Derby NO₂ AQMA No.2 A52 Air Quality Management Area in Spondon.

Under national guidance, an AQMA should be revoked when the air quality objectives have been complied with for 3 or more years. Based on local monitoring, we have been complying with the relevant air quality standards for over 10 years in this area. Furthermore, the government have confirmed that this must be revoked.
