Under the Licensing Act 2003, a licensing authority is required to promote the four licensing objectives:
Prevention of crime and disorder
Public safety
The prevention of public nuisance
The protection of children from harm
Derby City Council is the designated Licensing Authority under the Licensing Act 2003 and is required to revise and publish their Licensing Policy at least every five years, which they apply when exercising their functions under the Act.
Please review the document outlining the Proposed Statement of Licensing Policy and send any comments by 21 October 2024.
