A bright and colourful play area full of exciting equipment, promoting inclusion throughout and catering for a diverse range of ages and abilities. Equipment intended for the younger users has been zoned within the fence, and the more challenging equipment situated just outside the fence, leading to the retained teenage play equipment alongside. A strong nature theme is evident, with wildlife themed equipment and colourful, educational play markings across the floor, including a high-contrast yellow line for waymarking in/out/through the space safely. A large pyramid web net and 3D spider sit central to the fenced zone. Additionally, the scheme incorporates a wheelchair accessible trampoline, eight swings across two zones including a basket swing and harnessed swing, a fully wheelchair accessible ramped multi-play unit, wheelchair seesaw, three spinning bowls, a wheelchair accessible roundabout, multi-use seesaw and springer along with several low-level interactive, sensory and musical play items. The large two-tower unit in the older zone includes accessible steps, wide slide, large climbing net, a higher slide, curly climber pole and tactile game panels. A new zipline and hanging roundabout are also included. There is continuous wetpour surfacing and tarmac throughout full of games, graphics and a roadway, and accessible seating included.
