As you enter the play area from Reginald St entrance you come into the toddler play space, where raised vine graphics leads you safely through the space, allowing easy access to every item of equipment. The toddler area has 6 items of fixed play equipment, giving you swinging, rocking and spinning activities including a large multiply unit with wide access stairs with grips and a double width slide for extra accessibility. Through the toddler area and you will find an inclusive zone. This space features a wheelchair accessible roundabout, a wheelchair accessible seesaw, a wheelchair accessible picnic table and a wheelchair accessible trampoline. There are sensory and musical items such as bongos and chimes, as well as a barefoot path with different textures and materials, a performing stage and a colourful storytelling area. There is a new pathway to give access to the dynamic junior area section, which features a new zip wire, an overhead rotator, various swings, a large multiplay unit with five climbing elements to match existing large pieces. All of the items are on new play surfacing. The path has raised distance markers for those who want to walk, jog or wheel their way around the site.
