Climate change presents the biggest threat to life on Earth in modern times. It is unequivocal that human influence has warmed the atmosphere, ocean and land. There is now a climate emergency that we must address.
The goal is for Derby’s carbon emissions to benet zero by 2035.Net zero means not adding to the amount of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere. Achieving it means reducing emissions as much as possible, as well as balancing out any that remain by removing an equivalent amount.

We are using Let’s Talk Derby Climate as a platform to engage our community in discussion of action that we can take in Derby.
